Perfect signal coverage with the patented routing function
A disadvantage of wireless switch systems is the limited range of coverage of the switch signal.
With the F&G wireless switch system a limited range of signal coverage is a thing of the past.
The F&G wireless transmitters have a standard range of 30 – 50 metres indoors and 100 – 150 metres free range outdoors. The indoors range of coverage is highly dependant on the thickness and type of material of walls and ceilings.
If the distance between de transmitter and the actuator is too long, and therefore the coverage of the signal insufficient, a special “routing function” can be enabled in comfort mode, which significantly increases the signal coverage.
This patented routing function makes sure that a switch signal of a transmitter is automatically picked up and forwarded by an actuator located closer by, until the signal arrives at the actuator it was intended for.
All actuators/sensors with 230VAC nominal power supply are supplied with the built-in routing function as standard.
